NoCoNet's Premier Job Fair in Northern Colorado

Our NEXT job fair will be October 4, 2021.

Job Seekers - Register at:   

 Interested Employers & Recruiters:  email us at  Participation is free.

  • Exhibitors set-up at 8:30
  • Active* members and Veterans gain exclusive access from 9:00 - 10:00
  • The general public are welcome to enter starting at 10:00 a.m. 
  • Exhibitors will be available for contact until 12:00 p.m. 

*Active member status requires your attendance at one or more NoCoNet Monday meetings within six weeks before the Job Fair. This includes attending Orientation.

There is NO ORIENTATION on the day of the Job Fair. 

How to prepare for a job fair:

  • Research the positions offered by your target companies - click on their name to go to Career pages
  • Modify your resume to highlight your exisiting experience for each position of interest (you may prepare more than one resume for more than one position)
  • Practice your introduction ("elevator speech")
  • Sleep well the night before
  • Dress professionally (better to be more professional than too casual)
  • Bring your resumes, customized for the positions/companies you seek
  • Understand that company practices usually require online applications - job fairs are introductions

Recruiters -- another way to search for work

 Recruiters are often hired to do the first level of screening candidates for employers' open positions.  Depending on what kinds of positions and industries in which you want to work, recruiters who specialize in those areas may be helpful to you; most serve several industries and levels, from CEOs to entry-level, from IT, programmers, engineers and scientists, to accountants, administrative assistants, HVAC, drafters, and data entry, to warehouse, manufacturing, janitorial, and food service. External recruiters often have 10 or more companies for whom they are trying to find good candidates; your resume could go to more than one company. Frequently, the recruiting company gets paid by the company who hires their candidate (rather than by the job-seeker).
